Upcoming Wolfson 24/96+192 Card for Raspberry Pi

Posting this here as it would be interest to V1 board users, but also a very exciting opportunity for ham radio.

In Q3 2013, Wolfson announced they will be release an audio add-on card for the Raspberry Pi.
Allegedly, it's 5 channel - and will do 24/96 and possibly 24/192. It also has a DSP onboard for voice.

The speaker and mic ports on the V1 are just that... speaker and mic. They are not an I/Q interface. Removing them in V2 was an easy decision as they led to a lot of confusion.
