Antenna analyzer as RF signal generator

Postby hsquared » Tue Feb 17, 2015 5:22 pm

I have completed the receiver part of my PB build but sadly something is amiss and I get no reception. I don't have a real RF signal
generator but my RigExpert 54 has RF signal generator function at 13 dBm at various frequencies. Would this be helpful in tracing
the receiver path when connected to the antenna input of the PB. I am a Noob at radio theory having started less than a year ago.

13 dBm is only about 3 volts so that should be ok.
