SMT for the almost blind :-)

Hi guys,

Those of you with declining eyesight who, like me, can't read the part numbers on the components, should consider buying a Linen Tester.
It is a x 6 lens mounted on a frame and originally intended for people to count the number of threads in cloth. They cost about $10 here in England, though I am sure you can get them for a lot less in the USA. They are a lot easier to use than a digital microscope or my head set magnifier, probably because the lens is glass rather than plastic and the focus point is set. See here for a picture :-
